Beautiful Spanish style 2 story home with a terra-cotta roof, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, on 5 acres of land.
Our home has a large dining room and living room area. Beautifully large manicured lawns. It is secluded, yet only a 15 minute drive to St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, and Blythe Island. Also, only a 50 minute drive to Savannah, Georgia or Jacksonville, Florida.
Our home is located on a private road that is very beautiful. It is an enjoyable and relaxing walk down to the horse farm that is owned by our family. The farm itself has a full petting zoo, horseback riding on the beach and narrated carriage tours of the Historic District on Jekyll Island.
The Master Bedroom has a fireplace, a California King size bed and large double French doors that open to a private, walk-out balcony. It has a large Master Bath with with a Jacuzzi tub and a 2 person tiled, stand up shower. It also features a flat screen tv, and a large closet.
Guest bedroom number 1 has a queen size bed, a large closet, a flat screen tv, and double French doors that open up to a walk-out balcony that connects Guest Bedrooms 1 and 2.
Guest bedroom number 2 has a California king bed, a large closet and double French doors that open up to a walk-out balcony that connects to Guest Bedroom number 1.
Guest bedrooms 1 and 2 share a large full bathroom with a double vanity, with a toilet and tiled bath/shower combo.
Our home has a beautiful front porch that is very large that overlooks half of the property. It features 3 sections of couches, a table, and fire pit/table. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy meals and to be out in the fresh air or getting cozy and dry during one of South Georgia's thunderstorms.
Our home is the perfect location within an easy drive of all tourist activities, yet the perfect place to come relax and enjoy a nice vacation!
Horsefeathers Villa
Our villa is beachfront with an infinity pool. It is a single-story home which is easily accessible, having only one small step down to access the front entrance. The property is completely fenced and has an electric gate at the driveway entrance making this home a safe, child friendly home. Our home is a perfect getaway for families and elderly couples providing you with the ability to stay in one location and be able to enjoy the beach and a pool. It is also convenient to all island activities.
Our home has central air, a newly remodeled kitchen, and family friendly furniture. For entertainment we have a full sized ping pong table, a mini pool table, a poker table, as well as various board games and playing cards. The dining room table seats 8 guest and there is extra seating outside on the wrap around back porch. The back porch also includes a large gas grill and a relaxing hammock. Private access to the beach and the pool is just a step off the back porch. Free WiFi and cable are included along with a fresh bottled water dispenser. All towels and linens are provided as well assorted beach type toys. Our house is only 1.5 miles from the nearest grocery store and is conveniently located to all island activities. We also work with local auto rental companies to help with your transportation arrangements starting with your arrival through the day of departure. We have a private nanny, housekeeper and massage therapist that provide services on property as needed, you will be provided with their number upon booking to arrange any services you desire.
The entire property is accessible to you with the exception of two closets, Which will be locked.
